Accessibility Statement
Updated August 2026
At On the Roof Studio we believe making art belongs to everyone. We work to keep this site and our service accessible to people with disabilities, out of a commitment to equality, dignity and independence.
Level of accessibility
This site was made accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and the Israeli standard SI 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
What is included
• Semantic heading structure and ARIA labels for screen-reader use.
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
• Alternative text for images that carry information.
• Color contrast and text that scales to 200% without loss of content.
• Respect for the system's reduced-motion preference.
• A layout adapted to mobile devices and varying screen sizes.
Limitations
Some content is served by external services (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, the font service) that are outside our control, so their accessibility may differ.
We keep improving the site. If you run into anything that isn't accessible, please tell us and we'll address it as soon as we can.
Accessibility of the physical studio
The studio operates at the Sapir Center in Jerusalem, and also as a mobile workshop that comes to you. For details about accessibility arrangements on site, or adjustments for a group or a participant, contact us before your visit and we'll be glad to help.
